Project Services: VGCOM was retained to investigate district steam to natural gas conversion for a building located at 200 Madison Ave, New York. The building receives district steam, supplied by ConEd, to provide space heating and domestic hot water to the building. In this building, high pressure steam enters in the steam room, which is located in the sub-cellar of the building. The district steam feeds several mechanical equipment located on various floors of the building including AHUs on several different floors, DHW system located in the sub-cellar, unit heaters, steam radiators, and perimeter steam radiators located throughout the building to provide space heating.
